First a bit about IRC. IRC stands for Internet Relay Chat and is often ( too
often if you ask me! ) likend to CB RADIO! Well of course there is some
simularity, like the fact we use channels and nick names, but the relation
ship should end there.
You see unlike CB there is ( although very weak ) a certain amount of
security which , can and will, get you kicked off and even permenently banned
from a channel altogether. You can create a new channel, make it a secret
one, make it privite, and even put a password on it! If its a popular channel
you may find a LIMIT on it that someones placed to stop overcrowding!
There are several HELP sites to help you start out on IRC, heres a few to get
you going.

Now for the bit about #UFO. The #UFO channel is for all types of UFO talk, if you want to hear the latest gossip or just find out more about #UFOs then this is the place for you! There are certain rules the regulars to the channel ask you to abide by, for this reason I have created an On-Line FAQ! Please find the time to look at it. Also look at EBEs Home for a quick sneak at what some of us look like. If you see me "Kondor" dont forget to say "Hello BiRD!", because it makes me feel so good :)
